"But what if you're allergic to vaccines?"

Call it anecdotal but the only negative I ever got from a vaccine was that I got one of those huge groupings (5 at once) and I just felt shitty for a week.
I do feel that a huge number at vaccines at a single time could pose the risk of only one disease being combatted as your body is desperate to focus on a single target, I have no idea though, I'm no doctor.
Edward Jenner would be sad if he were here right now.

My cousin is allergic to eggs, which is the most common allergen in vaccines.
Do you know what his parents, who are doctors, do?
They ask for the vaccine made for people with an egg allergy.
The original report that started this anti-vaxxing BS said that 1 in 100 vaccinated kids get autism.
How is that worse than 1 in 35 dying

It's not. People are just irrational and never look at the information they use to perpetuate their beliefs.
"But what if you're allergic to vaccines?"

There are only a handful of contraindications for certain vaccines. They are few and far between the general populace but the benefits far outweigh the risks in the vast majority of cases.
It's not bad if I laughed at 'smallpox pixie', right?

If one is allergic to vaccines, then it's even more important for everyone around the person to be vaccinated. It's called "herd immunity" IIRC.
It becomes very difficult to get a disease if everyone around you is immune to it. And, if the person does unfortunately catch it, no one else will be affected.
This dad got shit right.
I used to just think these anti-vaxx people were some joke, but this shit is spreading to europe too, I can even see shit like this popping up on Facebook.
If this movement of anti-intellectual asshats continue growth at this rate, what is going to happen then? Do we have to treat simple things as going out in the shopping mall as a CBRN situation? Do we have to wear biohazard suits and gas masks when we go to work? Do our kids have to wear suits and masks too when going to school because of these stupid brats letting their unvaccinated viral bombs in school?
I know it's a silly, stupid extreme, but it gets the point across. There should be laws, and these laws should be everywhere: unvaccinated people can't go to any public or private educational institute, and by that I mean any sort of school, high school or university. They should not be allowed to travel internationally. Yes they are people and people have rights, but they also pose a huge threat, convicted criminals and terrorists are people too, but do we allow them to buy a ticket and take the next plane to the canaries? No we don't, why? Because they are a threat to society.
People actively working against measures to prevent another black death are a threat to not only society, but our civilization as a whole.
god damn
I think the smallpox pixie fluttered about and gave big hugs to all the little youtube commenters out there because the shit I've been reading in the comment sections of videos lately has been like a goddamn disease.
He is MAD. And he has every single right to be. What an extremely smart man. Must be a living Hell trying to argue with him over something though. (but vaccines don't need an arguement) this man is right in every single thing he said. Anti-vaxxers are just Pro-disease rich people who think themselves immortal.

I've actually seen quite a few poor and middle class people buying into this shit.
One in particular stood out since they were in my Facebook friends - they truly, honestly believed that their youngest son got autism from vaccinations. They hadn't tested him for autism prior to the vaccination :v:
"As long as they wish hard enough, as long as they believe hard enough."
heh.
Good video.
I am so glad the anti-anti-vaxxer movement is exploding like it is
Pretty soon anti-vaxxers will go away I feel.

I laughed all the way through, the way the man was raging was really funny. Everything he said is true, but man, the delivery was so flippant.

Maybe the rich ones did have vaccines and are just trying to trick low and middle class into not having vaccines.
Oh man don't even look at the comments of the video...

I completely agree with him and understand his frustration, but it seems to be a viral bait.

viral bait or not whatever he said during an emotional rant is 110x more logical than whatever drivel anti-vaxxers spout
I agreed 100% with him.
absolutely 100%
But that part about the rich and the poor
I didn't quite catch that, it's the first time i've heard that argument.
i thought it was about people being fucking retards thinking it caused autism

The idea is pretty common that the ultra wealthy elite are shitty people who look so hard down on the poor that they see base classes as problems/threats to their livelihood and would rather let them die off than continue to gain political traction. (notably all that "the 1%" talk over the past while now)
so basically, he thinks the concept of anti-vaxxing wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for people (with an agenda against dumb uninformed masses) intentionally stirring shit by spreading misinformation
regardless of who genuinely got the snowball rolling, fucking ridiculous mass panic style misinformation becomes self-replicating pretty damn fast among the mass-panicky stupid people who don't care to accept facts when there's some non-existent potential they could be right
to go off of that youtube guy mentioned a few posts up, biological weapons are banned, yes. Unfortunately by not protecting yourself against massive killer risks and acting like you're invincible if you avoid 'unnatural' medicines, and you continue to go out into the world, you're pretty much running the risk of turning yourself into biological suicide bomber without knowing you're spreading disease until it creeps up behind you down the line
oh dear don't watch this other guy's videos
"But what if you're allergic to vaccines?"

I know a parent who did all their kid's vaccines in a hospital so that way if anything did happen, they were in the right place. Why is that so hard?
I am so glad the anti-anti-vaxxer movement is exploding like it is

The sad thing is the most likely way they're going to die out is for them to win first. The reason the movement has spread so well is because of the application of fear, nobody is afraid of measles and smallpox anymore, everyone is afraid of autism and the government, and it's going to stay that way until they're reminded what they need to be afraid of.
that makes you the absolute opposite of an asshole
I found his bit about the rich/upper class people being immune pretty interesting. It's usually people who are well off going on about the evils of vaccines. They don't need to worry about their kids being sick with a diesease that requires expensive care - they can pay for it. Poorer people can usually afford cheap shots to avoid an expensive illness later. It really ties into the sheer disregard for others that anti-vaxxers always have. Could anti-vax really be the newest rendition of social Darwinism?
