Here's some reasons why this version is great and the version you just bought is shit compared to it. :v:
For the people concerned, it is very likely Mewtwo will be available for people with one version at some point instead of only being for the people that bought two. It was pretty badly-worded.

It's really not hard to see why a majority of the modes and features exclusive to the Wii U version wouldn't really work out on a handheld. The most important part is that they got all the fighters and abilities perfectly consistent across both versions, which was probably an insane task considering the differences in hardware they were dealing with.
The basic fact that we even have a handheld Smash Bros. game is incredible to begin with, and I'm certain I'll keep playing that version on the go even after the Wii U version comes out.

My guess is that he's free DLC for those with both games and is paid DLC for those with one game.
Is there any way to pre-order the bundle yet? On amazon it says it is not available, and my local gamestop said they won't be getting it either.

It's at least understandable why he's not back, and referring to him first and foremost by name involving codecs instead of Star Fox shows that Nintendo isn't going to just abandon the existence of him being in Brawl, just that he can't return since it was kind of a one-shot deal.
Should I watch this? I don't want to spoil the new game experience.
I absolutely love that it's being released on the 21st. One of my buddies who mains Kirby grew up with me and a 3 other guys playing the fuck out of Brawl (we have around 24 hours in Brawl versus matches according to stats) and he gets back from bootcamp on the 21st. We can play the latest Smash game with him before he ships off to do his 4 year contract.

I won't be buying a wii u for this but I can safely say this must be the best game of the year, haven't seen so much content and LOVE for a game since... can't remember.

I can't imagine playing Super Smash on a keyboard, sounds fucking awful. Unless you will buy a bluetooth adapter with a wii mote or USB gamecube controller.
Also good luck with the high probability that the game will run at 10 fps

I play Brawl on my computer with Dolphin emulator and an X360 controller. The Wii is sitting in my cupboard collecting dust because it got pretty redundant after Dolphin got good, especially since the Wii is only 480p and the emulator goes 1080p and over.

That Masterpieces thing is cool as fuck. Such a good way to get people to try out games they wouldnt otherwise even think about touching, such as F-Zero, Megaman, Star Fox or even Earthbound. Gives the players some sort of information about what that character is from, since Fox, Captain Falcon and Ness are more known for being in Smash than their actual games.
Plus, Since Star Fox is going to be getting another game/rebooted. This is a very good way to build up some hype and to bring that franchise into peoples radars.

Don't buy it for this game, buy it for Smash, Super Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, a metric shit ton of couch party games if you got friends, tons of ports that have been improved due to the gamepad/hardware (Shovel Knight, Wind Waker, Human Revolution to name a few,) and more stuff coming along.

Nintendo makes hardware specifically for their games, not the other way around. Don't wait for an emulator either, it's just not worth it. You can pick up the console for $200 refurbished from Nintendo's store.
