This is a really amazing idea!
Sweet i wonder how much these cost my brother's into photography so he'd love one for xmas.
That's gotta be expensive as shit. Especially if you want HD.
HOly shit that pidgeon
If I were you I'd put it on a cord of some sort. I mean, imagine if you dropped that thing, ouch.

I'm pretty sure the green shell is foam, or some other shock absorbing material.
Well it could still roll away.
And fall of a cliff.

But imagine the picture that would give you! [sp]Yes I realize it takes it at the highest point so this makes no sense.[/sp]

Throwing cameras isn't new :v:
(they sometimes use it to take group photo's from above.)

Found this quote in another article about it
Excitingly, the ball’s components are very cheap; it could have a retail price of under $100.
Unfortunately they haven't said when it will be released.
This totally seems like one of those products that future people will look back on and say, "Haha, what the fuck? That's such a retarded way to capture a panorama."
sure looks fun though
Imagine how awesome it would look if the camera could record videos as well.
Throwing like $5000 in the air
Fire this out of a cannon and see what happens.

I never realised Z represented displacement and A represented time
That'd be handy to have in so many situations.

Only way to get a picture of Slenderman.

Fuck that guy.
I've been wondering when someone would do this since like, forever
This would be good for visual effects, throw that ball in the air and you have a reflection you can apply to a model.
This would be even cooler if it had better cameras. but that means more expensive
