It's not pollen.. Its the fluffy bits that carry the seeds on the breeze, like cotton or dandelions do.

I live on a street called cottonwood street so you can imagine how it got its name. I get cottonwood tree fluff at my house like this every year and this is exactly what i do! It will clog up an A/C unit so i just burn it off.

My elementary school was surrounded by these fuckers, so on a windy day it looked like a blizzard. I didn't know anyone who was allergic but I always felt bad for anyone that was, it covered the entire campus.
