Extended gameplay with a minor spoiler at the end of it.
If you've already seen the E3 trailer new footage starts from 7:28.
Where's the part where he stood in place until they restarted the demo?
That was a glitch, and they rebooted on a different PS4 and played it again without the glitch (luckily) immediately after..

Or they cut to a video recording of it.
No, it was in fact a backup PS4.
“I walked out to the front,” said Druckmann, “and I’m looking at him going ‘Walk! Bruce, why aren’t you walking? Walk!’ I started spinning. I don’t know what to do. [laughs]”
Druckmann started shouting at anyone around him to switch over to the backup unit. There was another PS4 on stage with another copy of the demo, just in case something like this happened.
Straley gave up on the first PS4 and headed to the backup unit. There’s no way for him to communicate with the people running the show without leaving the stage, so he has to hope everyone picks up on what he’s doing. He transitioned to the other PS4; the demo loaded up a second time. After the same cutscene played a second time, Straley held his breath.
“Luckily, he moved,” he said. “The crowd went wild. Nate’s actually moving! It’s the game. This is awesome. [laughs]”
From what I’m told, if the second PS4 didn’t work, there was a video backup. This isn’t shocking, as just about every game at a press conference has a video backup. In this case, they didn’t have to resort to video, and Straley was able to play his game on stage for everyone.
I can't remember where I saw this, but apparently it was actually a controller problem. Either it ran out of battery or wasn't synced with the ps4, I can't remember which.
Seems pretty fun with the chase and stuff. Especially the huge tank appeared and almost crash into the bike.
good to see the mud he picks up magically go away after a long bike ride.

It's nice that they did this though instead of just playing a video from the get go.

Holy fuck i want this game :v:
Damn, that looks amazing, even the character models look amazing.
He's still wearing the Wedding ring at least.
Engrained in my mind at the part where Nathan and Sam are getting chased by the truck

I can't help but think this will be downgraded, like Uncharted 3 was. It looks too good :v:

fire looks good.
Awesome.that whole sequence looked amazing. It felt effortless, like a brilliantly choreographed movie. I'll be impressed if they can continue to create fresh feeling action sequences even after three uncharted games.

I also like how it seems that you don't have to fight every enemy anymore. Some of the combat sequences in the first three games got a little tiring after a while.

Go ahead, it'll make you all the happier when it's released as shown here if not better. ;)

U3 wasn't downgraded. Before you quote 'that picture' of Chloe on the bus, or Nate and Elena at airport, those are both pre-rendered cutscenes so there was no reason to downgrade, and weren't even 'downgraded' they were either relocated or the time of day was changed.
i might have a reason to get a ps4, cause this looks fantastic
too bad its not on pc though, this in 60fps would be phenomenal.

We have unearthed trail of ibn batuta :V
wow that was pretty amazing to watch
Now, why can't we have every bond film remastered into a game like this!

007 Blood Stone was pretty much that. And it was a pretty cool game.
this formula is getting old

You're getting old.
Only one of the two statements above are true.

I wonder if they'll somehow majorly fuck up how the aiming works like they did in 3.
Holy fuck 3 was a disaster
Now I want a PS4, for Bloodborne, inFamous and Uncharted.

3 was great except for the gun controls, for some reason they were just wonkier.
I am very curious to see how this game handles fail-safes. I've never played an Uncharted game but what happens when you take a wrong turn or don't kill someone? With such freedom, if they pull it off, it'll be incredible to see. Either way, these action sequences are probably worth the price of admission alone.
