looks pretty good! that boat scene though
Not feeling it myself just yet. Still too early to say for certain tho.
Trailer looks like it was edited weirdly but it looks alright.
Cool that Michael Keaton is reprising his role as Birdman.
i think its because it looks like two completely different trailers with how the first and second half ended up
yea i was about to say, it got good when rdj showed up everything before it looks disney channel-esque
the same scene happens twice lol [editline]9th December 2016[/editline] but I went into this super pessimistic after the terrible gritty reboot thing ruining spiderman for me, and this succeeded in getting my interest

The Vulture looks fucking dope holy shit
So are we meant to know who his high school buds are? Maybe it's just the diverse casting, but I'm stumped if they're meant to be someone not invented for the movie...
Tinkerer, Shocker, Vulture, Web Wings, Greater Marvel Universe Connections, Quippy Spider-Man? I love everything i see.
Shocker just wants to rob banks.
Not for nothing but that CGI at the very end looked like shit, even for the split second it lasted.

[sp] Peter's first crush from the comics[/sp] Which is kinda nice to see in a movie finally. Ned Leeds: His friend.[sp]in the comics he is a daily bugle reporter that at one point got brainwashed and became the hobgoblin[/sp]<-- i'm confused about what they are doing with him here.
International trailer: has a few new scenes.
oh this movie looks so fun
That scene with the robbers reminded me too much of Deadpool.
It's a good comparison actually. And you can tell in comparison that it's a lot more deadpan in this one. Deadpool's car scene had a whole lot of creativity, even in the trailer. This one's played a lot more safe, such as having a locked off camera and not a whole lot done with the spiderman powers other than that one web sling and the standing on the roof part. I know he's not supposed to be a crazy badass yet, but they could've been a little creative and taken some risks with his character. Maybe have him do some crazy stunts, but one of them fails and he almost loses control, and regains himself just barely. Not only would that show how much power he has, but how close he is to losing control, which I think would set us up well for the rest of the movie. And they could keep that "whoa that was awesome" line and it'd add a little more depth, as it'll tell us that Peter is still really immature about this whole thing and may not know the gravity of the situation. I'll have to see how they handle it in the final picture, but judging by the rest of the trailer, that comparison or the fact that I made up something remotely more interesting in 10 seconds shows how much they're missing the point. It seems like they have an interesting conflict and are doing nothing interesting with it. eh. as a side note this isn't me shitting on the film, i think it can be a good campy one, but i just think it won't be anything excellent, which is a shame considering how big they could go with it being marvel.
I'm loving what I see so far Hope it turns out to be good

[editline]8th December 2016[/editline] Its actually baffling, he looks, acts, is the age, and serves the same role as Ganke but is named Ned Leeds.
I would hate to be that person who had to clean up that lego death star, let alone put it back together :v:

I'm optimistic this will be good. But I hope the focus will be more on Peter Parker than Spider-Man. I think that's what made the original first two movies great, focusing more on the struggles of Peter juggling normal life and being Spider-Man. That was the intent of the original comics anyways. Right now it's looking like it's trying too hard to fit in the MCU and it might lose focus.
That scene where he's holding the boat together looks sick af.

I'm just glad that Peter has friends now, maybe not many or very popular but it takes a lot to be completely friendless in school. Peter's friendship with Harry just seemed forced and based around "THEY WILL FIGHT SOME DAY" in the first series and not having any other than Gwen Stacey was weird in the second (he skateboards and can make webshooters effortlessly, how is that kid not drowning in girls?)
that boat scene Statue of Liberty in background Timing of trailer release It all makes sence: [sp]Peter holds a divide between US Citizens, Norman Osborn to be played by Donald Trump[/sp]

Holy shit that dude is fucking ripped
Was Spider Man's voice that muffled in the other movies? It's a little off putting.
Is this the third time they've re-done the Spiderman movies now?
