Surprised he even did this
Surprised he even did this
He's never missed a Monday.
Do all British people say pasta like that? Pass-Tuh instead of Paws-Tuh? Caring about ratings: Please keep rating me dumb for wanting to learn more about how people speak in countries I've never been to... jesus.
Do all British people say pasta like that? Pass-Tuh instead of Paws-Tuh?
Commonwealth too, I've never heard anyone say it like the latter because that's just weird.
Commonwealth too, I've never heard anyone say it like the latter because that's just weird.
I am not bothered by it, obviously accents differ all over the world and that's totally cool. However it is an Italian word, and the latter pronunciation that seems weird to you is a lot closer to how it is said in Italian. Although the first couple comments on this video basically argue for the commonwealth pronunciation haha. Anyways, that's enough off topic, I just don't talk to British people in person so I've never heard it said that way. Caring about ratings: I specifically say that I am not bothered, and that I'm not pretending this is somehow better or that the commonwealth pronunciation was wrong in anyway. This was purely to explain why I had the question in the first place.

As long as the person understands what you're saying it doesn't matter.
Unless you go around spouting "Al-Ew-Min-Ium" as the correct pronunciation I will smack you down if you start that crap.
There is no "right" way to pronounce words. As long as the person understands what you're saying it doesn't matter.
I specifically said I am not bothered by it, and never claimed a "right" way either. Not sure why people are rating me dumb, literally all I did was ask an honest question and then explained why I had the question in the first place.
If you have a question such as "Does everyone..?" the answer is probably no.
o You arent supposed to take generalized questions as literally the question in full you know
