After looking through his channel how is he not dead yet
After looking through his channel how is he not dead yet
the secret is that he actually knows what he's doing
the secret is that he actually knows what he's doing
I think he replied to a comment about his Jacob's Ladder video where he almost seriously injured himself by grabbing it when it fell, which is a big no-no. But yeah he knows what he's doing.
Because every single accident that he did is very carefully and safely staged to demonstrate what COULD go wrong, he was probably never in serious danger a single time during the entire channel, except when he tried to light his moustache on fire. The jacob's ladder thing was probably set up to get sparks but not enough to actually hurt him. If he demonstrated any of the shit that he did in any of his videos for real he would have ended up in the hospital 6 times already. Alternatively he could be a super human Houdini like character who can pass any quantity of electricity through his body with no consequence, and he pretends that it's all staged in order to not get a squad of biologists knocking at his door.
the secret is that he actually knows what he's doing
He knows exactly what to do but he does the exact opposite. anyone in electrical engineering knows that you DON'T HOLD 120 AC LIVE WIRES WITH YOUR BARE HANDS and you research things before you start building. of course there's also the Jacobs ladder which he had a large amount of voltage passing right through his heart, there's also the time gets in a tub with a toaster to demonstrate ground fault circuit interrupters and lets not forget his how many videos of ritualistic tongue shocking. He does know a good deal but It almost seems like like he wants to join the squirrel suicide death cult.

He also always has his ring on. I'm not an electrical engineer but my dad is and they say one of the first things you learn is to take your rings and watches and jewelry off.
If you freeze frame the sparks in one of his videos you could see the effect is made with a really badly drawn mspaint spark and a brightening filter. i forget which one that was but i think someone on FP pointed it out.
He has stated several times on reddit that the jacobs ladder accident was actually really dangerous and not planned, and that he was super lucky.
I visualize Mehdi playing the role in the Jacob's Ladder horror movie, surprisingly he would fit pretty well, he is good at being dramatic.
After looking through his channel how is he not dead yet
His entire channel and videos are made to look painful to scare people hard enough to not commit mistakes if they try out things themselves. Shock tutorials.
Well i cant deny that this kid is a genius, even if its not the expected way.
The kids a con artist
The good ol 19th century style too.
This whole ordeal with the kid comes across to me as a parent/guardian exploiting the kid, because the kid gained some traction with their nonsense.
He has stated several times on reddit that the jacobs ladder accident was actually really dangerous and not planned, and that he was super lucky.
Yep, it fell on him and it wasn't planned. When he is talking about it afterwards in the video his hands are shaking really bad as well. Here's the video, at 8:00 mark:

You're not doing chemistry, the lab coat is superfluous. Sincerely Someone who does chemical analysis and actually wears a lab coat.
