Games are great teaching tools. Especially for getting people interested. Grand strategy game discussions about mechanics always turn into great history lessons and debates on certain forums.
My dad used to do this with me with baulders gate and resident evil.
Shit was awesome.
Extra credits is pretty great. If it's something to do with the games industry they've probably got something on it. Not uneducated, opinionated crap either, good intelligent discussion.
My parents couldn't give a fuck about games and still think they're a waste of time and effort, they put a tiny bit of effort into trying to play a game but it never lasted long.
