Special effects are nicely done though. There is just no point... I don't know how to word it properly.
It's like a demo of what you can do (assuming it's you). But then it's not because you try to make a story out of it, but it's not there either. It's in between a show off (which can be good) and a story with special effects, and it's not working.

You don't think being short is a good thing tho?
I know attention spans on youtube are extremely short...anything above 2 minutes and I start skipping lol

You're good at special effects. So people said it would be great if the special effects were means to show something. And I agree. But the story is just not getting through. The length is ok for special effect show off, but I think it's too short for a story, unless it would be a quick joke or something.
Write down what the plot is showing and see if it makes sense. Here it's:
A guy gets a package delivered by a midget. He opens up the package and he finds a jar with a light and gas in it. After opening the jar, the gas turns the guys head into a skull.
Not much sense in it. And it's just raising all those questions. Why a midget? Who sent the package? Why someone wants to harm that guy? Why change his head into a skull? Not everything has to be explained of course. See freddiew vids, he doesn't explain who he's fighting, it's just bad guys. The minecraft vid I linked. It doesn't explain much either. Just that there are zombies and the 2 guys have to get out of the city. The who and where questions don't have to be answered but there shouldn't be so many whys.
Oh and I'm not into youtube community too much so I don't know, maybe it works there fine, but personally I'm annoyed by "thumbs up for blahblah" and such.
