That must've hurt.
how is it inconsiderate, looks like plain stupidity to me
What's with the blinding light?
What's with the blinding light?
Seems to be why he crashed in the first place. why are car manufacturers so obsessed with making such bright lights? normal car lights are already very visible at the darkest of times
Visible to oncoming traffic maybe, but the driver needs to be able to see the road at night too.
It was a well lit road for a dark time, so there was no need for the oncoming driver to turn on the full beams and blind the guy riding a bike,
why are car manufacturers so obsessed with making such bright lights? normal car lights are already very visible at the darkest of times
Cars that come out of the factory generally have their lights adjusted to prevent this. They're designed to only light up the road up til about the level of a car's bumper. The problem comes from idiots putting HIDs in light housings designed for regular halogen lights. [t]http://i.imgur.com/3nN5VAp.jpg[/t] HIDs in halogen housings [t]http://i.imgur.com/eFDINH9.jpg[/t] HIDs in projector housings. The proper way.

You may as well be on full beam at all times.
Seems to be why he crashed in the first place. why are car manufacturers so obsessed with making such bright lights? normal car lights are already very visible at the darkest of times
Don't blame the car manufacturers for giving more options for the driver, blame the dickhead drivers that use full-beams in the middle of the city
I've seen this guy in a few others videos and I can assure you that he is a total dickhead.
I've seen this guy in a few others videos and I can assure you that he is a total dickhead.
Link some videos. There's nothing like becoming mildly irritated by a fellow biker after a hard day's work.
Yeah, the opposite car had full-beams on. But the bike already went way too fast.

Gee, maybe the speed limit serves a purpose?
People miss the point of this. It's the lights. The lights were too bright.
People miss the point of this. It's the lights. The lights were too bright.
Not to mention that safety cone had no purpose whatsoever if it was only 15 feet behind the car
Easily could have avoided the crash by swerving.
Easily could have avoided the crash by swerving.
Well, target fixation does that to you.
Just noticed the safety cone aswell, and the fact that the broke down car has stopped on the left side of the lane instead of the right. I really can't blame the biker anymore. The driver ahead of him is blasting him with full-beams, and the broke down car put the cone like 5m away from the car. And as far as I know the speed limit could've been 80 km/h there.
