#cellgames
Can I just say how much I love how they made [sp]Nappa[/sp] part of the story? It's honestly really believable, especially with the character they gave em.

[sp]I love how they loop-hole'd him in with that revive everyone killed by people working for Frieza wish[/sp]
Yamcha was right. #CellGames got trend within the few hours following this and still is right now.

I love the subtle callbacks they keep making.
The quality of these is just fucking incredible. The production values are through the roof.

Cell's now a close second place, every one of his scenes in this episode were absolute gold.
The one at 7:03 landed a critical blow on my sides.
Last few episodes they've been drawing their own mouths (and sometimes eyes) for the characters, and they kind of stand out against the original animation IMO. Looks weird.
What is that anime at 11:12 ?

I agree with whenever they draw in new eyes, but the new lip flaps don't really stand out.
The script is written amazingly. The callbacks, intentional and unintetional sass between characters, and oh my god I love Perfect Cell so much
Also feel free to pray to your god, but spoilers... I won't be listening.
Too bad it takes a million years between episodes. If it was monthly or even bi-monthly we'd be Buu Saga by now.

They've been doing them a lot faster then they used to. They're aiming for once a month (it used to be 2-3 months between), though this one took a bit longer.
They only have one editor IIRC.

Well the mouth flaps are so clean compared to the original footage. Plus sometimes the shapes seem off.

If you look carefully during [sp]the scene where cell is building the first arena, you can actually see the green block fly by before they show it built[/sp]

Unfortunately it looks like the wait for #CellGames might be a bit longer, as I believe the next thing they have planned is in fact Broli. Plus for this winter, they are going to be doing that one OVA "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" (or as they're calling it, "Plan to Eradicate Christmas").
Well Kaiser said at the end of this video the wait won't be as long for the next episode.
was the cell [sp]dream[/sp] scene a reference to that star wars dream sequence?
Honestly, I think Dragon Ball Z Abridged is better than the real show. I know it's a parody and everything, but when a serious moment does happen they manage to nail it perfectly.

I think it might be another reference to [sp]Steven Universe. There was a dream scene with similiar twist.[/sp]

Oh Christ, yeah!

If that's what that is, then wow, two references in this many episodes...
Not to say that I disagree. The fandom is cancer, but fuck, SU's whole previous season till at least a year ago has been unput-downable. Good to have something recent to enjoy the hell out of since Gravity Falls ended.
I love how they can take filler or non important episodes and make them enjoyable. Remember how they handled garlic jr? Good times.
I really hope they do some of the filler between now and the cell games. Like Gohan's birthday and Goku's quest for the dragonballs, both of which involve general Tao.
I also hope they take some time to introduce our lord and savior mr. Satan.

That might be because the real show sucked ass. I mean, the books are great in many respects, and back when I was ten the show was great, but I don't think I could sit through a single episode today. The books were best when they didn't take themselves so seriously, and the animated show stretches the serious scenes into a couple of hours per page. Personally I think that makes it basically unwatchable, which is why DBZ Abridged is great.

Also, everyone who liked DBZA would probably also like this:

The books of dragon ball are classic besides maybe being a bit weaker in the buu saga. The show is just unwatchable as far as im concerned after reading the books.

[sp]Well Nappa is apparently his publicist judging by the end of this episode. Which makes perfect sense[/sp]

They are going to do some of the filler. Some in episode, some in short side videos not full episodes, they want the full episodes to be substance.
Oh my god I love this. First they're trending on Twitter, now the sonic Twitter is getting in on it? Fucking awesome.

tbh I was actually impressed by their lip flaps and how they were consistent with the compression artifacts.
I should really watch all of these.
The quality (jokes & visual) just keeps going up, when will it end??
