Thats really scary. I can only imagine what it would be like to be in your house and to feel the constant shaking from the shells. Is there news somewhere about this?
Simply terrifying.
Its a shame what the Ukrainians are going through in the name of geopolitics

And here I thought things were getting better.

Neat map and updated news on the battlefront and what not of Ukraine if anyone is interested; http://liveuamap.com/?ll=47.64615587243658;38.160207519531234&zoom=9

In other news, Ukraine side basically lost airport with great casualties, they are on the loosing side now.

Oh yeah, and apparently some captured POWs are being taken into Donetsk where they are being beaten to death.
So much for "protecting the Russian people of Eastern Ukraine from the fascist junta", I guess
So much for "protecting the Russian people of Eastern Ukraine from the fascist junta", I guess
Yup... I wish your country luck Laser, I really do. Supposedly the United States is sending advisors to aid and train your National Guard in March/April. With how the bombings are going, I honestly hope we dedicate some drone resources and begin doing coordinated strikes on every artillery and tank position the rebels haves. To hell with all of them.
Wait, hold on, the russians are doing chemical attacks now?
Looks like the kind of symptoms you get after a prolonged exposure to chemicals used in smoke rounds. Which isn't suprising, considering they were shelled with that kind of stuff throughout the 'cease fire'

I'm not a Ukrainian and hardly have a right to speak for anyone, but in their place I'd prefer shitty and scummy, but still government instead of having a rebellion in my country, a rebellion supported from the outside.

I just personally hate Ukrainian government more because it's truly a government, and it uses all of it's governmentish traits (such as steady tax income) to systematically lie, hide facts, beg for loans, spread fear, eliminate all the things they signed up for, basically enforce double standards. Rebels suck, but they at least don't pretend to be civillized peaceful victims of a mythical enemy, they don't go all around EU begging for money, while doing absolutely nothing but ban anything out of their agenda: a western ukrainian journalist that came from east ukraine and wrote an article where he said that he saw no russian soldiers was jailed, he is in prison now with justification "supporting terrorism" (this in a country that claims it has complete free speech "like in France" to quote Poroshenko from his Zurich visit. The journalist was not agitating anyone to join the rebels, make any terrorist acts or anything. He just told what he saw like a journalist. And suffered for it. Just my personal preferance, I prefer open savages to pretentious scumbags. You at least know what to expect from savages.
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B792cvgCYAETys_.png:large[/t] Images out of Dontesk airport seem to support the story of the Ukrainian soldiers saying that gas attacks were done. If this is the case, NATO/EU really needs to get off it's asses and demand that any chemical weapons in Ukraine is removed.
Well a gas mask doesn't really tell anything.

You at least know what to expect from savages.
the ukrainian government is hardly a good one and yes, it has a massive problem with corruption, but you know what? they were not the ones who invaded a sovereign nation and supported a brutal insurgency to destabilize it. the people of ukraine ousted a government that didn't represent their interests and ordered the murder of peaceful protesters, so they replaced it with a (admittedly unelected) government that will transition their country into european integration. the kremlin responded to that by invading ukraine. that's unacceptable. let's stop pretending the russian government cares about the ethnic russians in ukraine and see this war for what it is: putin's attempt at creating yet another frozen conflict in the former soviet sphere of influence in order to ruin ukraine's chance of developing closer ties with the west. it's transnistria and georgia all over again.

Any sane person would prefer a government that is at least functional and ultimately aims for peace and preservation of their existing lands over a bunch of unorganized rebels with hardly a cause.
