Judging by the way the helicopter is leaning forwards and backwards when it's touching the rail, to me it looks like it has the majority of it's weight on it.
Whether it landed or touched down is irrelevant; it's still quite the feat.

The video is from Norway, and Norway is a landscape that has to utilize helicopters a lot so there are many fantastic pilots here.
