The website http://nextfrictionalgame.com has finally 'booted up' and the video is what was contained. more stuff being loaded.
Here is the short information included with the video
The machine has the appearance of a heavily modified monitor fixed to a massive nest of cables and controls. Machinist Peter Strasky found the contraption during a salvage mission the screen rolled and flickered, but it shut down as it was pulled out from the container.
None of the crew stepped forward to take credit, but the construction suggests since Thabo is unavailable for questioning, the machine's origin remains a mystery.
Considering the lack of information and the general unease it has started to cause, the machine will be disassembled.
screen lit up and showed distorted schematics. After trying different switches and keys, the oblique levers were found to be torsion attenuation controls which could stabilize the pict revealing a complex set of instructions. The machine is now under quarantine.
AM Engineer Imogen Reed has asked for an exception Special permission granted.
Is that a new Alienware product?
Is that a new Alienware product?
Without its 5,000$ case.
It seems like a futuristic SCP, which is no bad thing
Not much information on this just yet but it seems like it could be pretty interesting. Going to be paying attention to this one.
Ohboy, another awesome horror game I can't play because I'm a massive pussy when it comes to horror-anything. :(

A Machine for Pigs wasn't too bad.
That had so many SCP vibes.
And I love it.
Soma made me think it was brave new world related at first

I don't think you understand the size of the pussy I am.
Spiritual successor to SCP or not, this already has me interested.
eugh that's freaky
they really made that thing give off a horribly uncomforting vibe before anything started happening
good job, shit.
Why is she taking pictures of the camera, or holding her pad in front of it or something?
Why is she taking pictures of the camera, or holding her pad in front of it or something?
Appeared to be some sort of device/camera calibration protocol.
Space future is weird.
-snip, ninjad-
this is gonna be good

It does indeed look like a calibration process, since the camera sometimes flashed before and sometimes after the tablet thingy flashed too, like this:

followed by this:

Also here are the symbols if anyone's interested:

Soma means addition, at least on Brazilian Portuguese, so it would make sense for the symbol to be a plus, hmm.
Pretty cool. I always preferred the "mysterious object" SCPs to the ones where it's a spooky guy who's gonna getcha or something.

This, that universe needs a game set inside it. I don't know how it'd work, I just know it would.

At the end. The video on the computer's screen showed someone falling over. I think she recognized whoever it was which was why she screamed and made them turn it off.
It freaked me out. :c

It was her. She saw herself falling out of the chair and I think writhing in agony.

I don't think so. The person looked like they were standing up. I thought perhaps that it was her companion she was talking to over the radio.
It was her. It recoded her standing up, sitting down and falling. Past, present and theoretical (dystopian) future. Basically some sort of SCP-like story where an entity predicts something horrible is going to happen to the person using it.

That seems too typical. I hope it's something different than that.

Indeed. A lot of SCP are usually different things doing the same thing. With more submissions, originality is reduced. I hope frictional are a lot more creative.
I don't really hope for this to be a SCP-like, most of those who try either have too little ideas or do more of the same.
She was saying something - that or just groaning.

I'm sure if Facepunch tried, they could come up with something much sp00kier than than any of the SCP's.
