The kid sounds kinda goofy but this is a good idea. Perhaps you could use this to hide your beer? EDIT: Only works if you have a screen, if you've got one of those dumb two layered windows it won't work nearly as well because the second layer prevents the cold from getting in.
Hey that's pretty neat :v:
This has been well known, for a while. Also he is not goofy.
I've been doing this for years every winter. Except I have a much larger vertical space next to the window with a small door (It's for airflow). Even faster than a freezer, and I don't have to walk across the house.
My God! He's a patriots fan...
My God! He's a patriots fan...
What's the problem with that? At least they're not the Lions
If i put it outside my window it'd be ice in a minute.
If i put it outside my window it'd be ice in a minute.
Where do you live?
My drinks would stay about room temperature. :saddowns:
I'd do this if I didn't live in Michigan. :gonk: It's so fucking cold here they'd freeze.
Wouldn't work in Finland. Unless you like your soda in edible form or want to wait for hours for it to melt.
aw shit now my cola is ice.
Wouldn't work in Finland.
I disagree, just put the drinks in there an hour or two before you're planning on drinking them.
I do that, and for winter parties, we buy the pop an hour before it starts and toss them in the snow on our deck.
I disagree, just put the drinks in there an hour or two before you're planning on drinking them.
Too much of a hassle. If I do that I need to know I'm gonna be thirsty in one hour and plan ahead or wait one or two hours before I get a drink.
You want a goofy fucker and a cool way to keep shit cold? Oh and he's building a giant fucking robot, so watch those videos too for some laughs.
My window doesn't open like that :(
Too much of a hassle. If I do that I need to know I'm gonna be thirsty in one hour and plan ahead or wait one or two hours before I get a drink.
Guess I wouldn't know then, as I only do this with beer (Haven't touched soda in over two years now). Every Friday, after I get back home with a 24-pack, I stack some cans in there. I know I'm going to want one in a few hours after I've taken my shower and had something to eat. Also it sucks to pause music between each can to run to the kitchen and back.....toilet runs every three cans are enough :v:
It's a good idea.
I just bought myself a mini fridge for 60$ has a freezer too for ice cream and shit.
Is there a specific reason he stores them on their side? I'd imagine you'd be able to fit two to three times as many cans there if you stood them up.
Thats the most creative thing I have ever seen... who would have thought that cold air outside can cool drinks! /sarcasm
Thats the most creative thing I have ever seen... who would have thought that cold air outside can cool drinks! /sarcasm
Hurr, that wasn't the point, it was that you can store them between your window and your screen that way it the cans stay there and you don't have to run to the fridge.
My windows are fucking dirty and crawling with spiders and bugs. :(

Not sure if Australia is a good place to be doing this.
I'd do this if I didn't live in Michigan. :gonk: It's so fucking cold here they'd freeze.
its even colder in Canada :'(
Unfortunately this doesn't work too well for those of us who live further south. :c
Hell, they'll freeze here in Virginia.
I'm taking note of these ideas
