Looks alright, at least the animations are a step up from the usual Telltale's style.
Looks great. I hope they can maintain a proper release schedule this time..
I regretted buying TW 2 and Wolf Among Us on launch. By the time the 2nd episodes FINALLY came out the thing had already been on sale for nearly half off.
never buying a telltale game until the whole thing is released
learned that from twds2 and twau
I don't have any fundamental problems with it including all these show characters, but after watching the trailer I'm a bit afraid that our encounters with them will feel really forced. As in, "oh, what a coincidence that you happened to walk into me, a pivotal character from the HBO show!"

Yeah i mean what are the chances of bumping in to each other being in the same city and all??
am i the only one that gets really annoyed every time i see bad mouth movement in games
like come the fuck on it's 2014 we shouldn't have static lips / facial expressions in games, especially ones like this
The fact they have most of the original cast doing their own voices gets me so hyped.

It's not just the mouths though. Everything is badly animated. This has been putting me off so far from every Telltale games except Poker Night 1. Can't get myself immersed in their games at all.
I wish Telltale would abandon the concept of episodic gaming and just release the whole thing as one big game.

especially in these TT games where 90% of the game is watching the characters be so poorly animated, it's really annoying

Why? You have the ability to wait if you want. I like having something to look forward to.
The animations look super stiff.
Telltale must literally print money at this point but they won't upgrade their fucking game engine. They are becoming the pokemon company.
I fucking love the way that scene of Gregor at 1:04 looks.
I'm kinda worried that they're releasing two games at once again. I don't even care that much for the GoT lore so I probably won't pick this up, but I'll be DAMNED if I miss out on a monthly episode of Tales from the Borderlands. So good.
