I would think you would be awesome, not creepy.
[sp]But then again, I want a pet crow too.[/sp]:v:
Ravens are fucking boss.
It's cute.
it like, knows how the water opens. it just can't do it
fuckin birds are smart
Avians are so damn amazing.
It always makes me wonder what animals are thinking when they try to do things like this, does the crow know that the back pack is just some kind of container, or does it just think it's a strange animal carcass?

True but I'd rather have a Kea
man ravens would make the best companions
Sadly, they actually don't. They'll never think of you as an important part of their life, so they make terrible pets. And unless you want to keep them caged for their entire lives, there's no guarantee they'd even come back if they fly away.
Also, for some reason, it's illegal to catch or otherwise keep them. There doesn't seem to be any real reason for the law, and they're not endangered, so it's a strange law.

Surely someone would have domesticated and bred them, can't be that hard. Then you just clip their wings and hopefully get them when they're young. They're about as concerned about you as cats, but it's still a cool pet.
I would never adopt a wild bird.
Who knows what kind of nasty diseases it's carrying. Yuck, it might even give me syphilis while I'm sleeping.

I'd think most people who want companionship from an animal would look down on purposefully wounding an animal so that it can't escape.
And the closest I've heard of a domesticated crow was Joe the Crow, but I've never really looked.

I just realized, I was thinking of Crows this entire time. Nevermind what I've said, I don't know if it's accurate anymore.
That was oddly adorable :v:
He has a fuzzy little fro too. What a boss.
With training, you can teach a crow to 'speak', like a parrot.
There used to live a crow in our park that must've been tame for a while. It would sit in a tree and caw "hellooooooo" whenever someone walked by. If you said "hello" to him, he would respond with another "hellooooooo". It was funny as hell.
He just dissapeared one day. I wonder where he went. He probably died or something. The kids in my neighborhood were kind of sad that the "hello crow" wasn't in the park anymore.
Alot like Joe the Crow, actually.

You ever owned a bird? Because clipping their wings is a pretty common procedure. Most of mine have had it done when they were young and being hand-reared so they got used to being with us rather than sitting on top of the curtains the entire time.
My family used to own a pair of lovebirds, one of them died and the other one got really really sad, we put his cage next to a mirror so he didn't feel so lonely and it worked.

Birds are great
man ravens would make the best companions
They are extremely intelligent among birds. They've been known to open locks with the keys lying around to get at food in a locked container. All in all, ravens are really cool.
Ravens are awesome, I captured this video of two Ravens making some weird noises outside of my house when I lived in Northern Alberta
