The thing that really annoys me here is the audience, one minute they're all laughing at what he's saying, next they're applauding when Jeremy Kyle calls them out on it, shows that most people who go to watch this stuff are probably braindead morons who's only reason for not being on stage is sheer luck.

But I personally believe it's scripted with a bit of improv here and there. Or at least, that's what I keep telling myself so I don't have to acknowledge that the pants-on-head retarded people featured on this show actually exist.

I was in the audience for this show, once - it's recorded near where I live, so a couple of friends and I decided it would be a laugh to go (it was pretty fun actually, had a look around where the bbc is based, too). Ol' Jezzer isn't really a prick when he's not dealing with fucked up situations and fucked up people, if you can believe it. I don't think it's scripted at all, these people are like this even when the cameras aren't rolling.

The audience are instructed what to do. Jeremy is just pandering to the public to cover up for the fact that the majority of the time he is an abhorrent person.

Jeremy Kyle is not scripted, it's nothing like the millions of american ones which obviously are. These people really are scumbags, and yes, I totally live for jezza K
