I still sometimes play PGR3/4 with friends on split screen because the cars are so fun to drive.

Wait... "Metropolis Street Racer" and "Project Gotham Racing"... did they really like DC Comics or something?

PGR was really one of those games that everyone can enjoy. New players can just jump right in and get the hand of it and the more experienced players can change settings and handicaps so there is enough challenge.

I tried to get in to racing sims after they shut down but I just don't enjoy them as much.

PGR was a fun series of games, had pgr 3 and 4 on my xbox 360.

This thread has made me decide to buy PGR 2, 3 and 4.
(Not getting the first because it doesn't work on 360 as far as I can work out.)

And all 3 are dirt fucking cheap, 4, 2 and 2 dollars each.
