AKA: Late
this was pretty late I thought it was going to be the movie or something.
Here's the full song, for those wondering. I know you all love it.

Lol what the fuck kind of class is he taking where a professor would talk like that.
Surely if the professor was that one-sided, It'd be a niche class with an obvious title that would scare away the kid.
Why am I trying to dissect this, it's just so DUMB.
The entire movie is based on a falsehood - religion is in some sort of danger. It plays on anti-intellectualism and populism to make its dumb point.
lets all watch something nice instead

Awesome trailer, probably going to watch.
Thanks for sharing :)
All I could picture during the Trailer was some Space Marines shouting "HERESY".
What a stupid movie.

this movie
I can't believe something so stupid could exist.
But then I remembers this movie exists:
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/to_save_a_life/
and then in the end the professor is revealed to have some silly Freudian reason for hating god (maybe he was molested by Jesus) and he cries and says he is sorry hooray religion is saved from this vicious attack
looks like a bunch of tripe, as captain obvious a statement as that is

I actually had the chance to see it. They're both terrible, but in their own ways.
To Save A Life: "Baw I ruined my life but it's okay because Jesus. Also, using suicide to promote religion"
God's Not Dead: "Baw religion is dying and we'll tell you why, also Duck Dynasty"
I respect the religion and its beliefs, but the idea of "Christian" as a categorization of movies is ridiculous. Everything comes off as blatantly preachy, and sometimes in the worst unintentional manner(As seen in To Save A Life). There are subtler ways to state your religious movie besides jamming holy moments in EVERY nook and cranny.
Oh yeah, the movie that claims science supports God's existence.
How fucking dumb can you get?
I thought it was another movie than the already old one with Sorbo:

I can only think of one thing worse than this.

The first movie theater I went to after moving to PA had this playing the headlining trailer before my movie.
Remember when Christian media was subtle? Back when the Narnia series and A Wrinkle in Time were written?
Oh wait no one remembers that because it was so fucking long ago and all Christian media since then is so fucking blatant and preachy it can't be enjoyed by anyone without a full-on Christ boner
Also fundies think magic is from Satan so all fantasy media is out the window

That's probably due in part to the fact that those stories were told by christians who were trying to explore their own faith and what it meant to them, while these stories are told by christians who think the gay atheist zeitgeist is trying to kill jesus.

Wait, a Wrinkle in Time was Christian?
I mean I read it when I was like 9 or 10, so I don't fully remember everything; but what I do remember of it was: confusing as fuck.
