So, is this game actually any good or is it a piece of crap like everyone who is a fan of Sniper Elite expected it to be?
It seemed kind of unpolished for some reason. Also, what engine are they using?
When I heard the world "Graping Hook" I was like "Oh look, another hyper realistic game like MW2" But the hook was ok actually.
As long they they don't fuck up the controls and stealth - I'm in.

While it looks nice, it's being made by City Interactive who specialize in making horrible budget-priced games. I wouldn't count on it being very good.

Maybe they're trying to change their ways.
Sniper is actually a deceptive title, as only one of the two playable characters is actually a sniper. The other missions will be played from the perspective of a more traditional soldier that enjoys his loud, automatic weapons just as much as the next guy.
I've seen this before, but then it looked like a nomal shooter where you just use the sniper rifle a lot.
But bullet physics and stealth are a plus. If its anything like Siper Elite, I'm in.
Also, remember the 'assasination mod' for Crysis (unreleased, no updates in quite some time) ?
This looks kind of like what I wanted to see in that mod. I hope there will be a demo.
An interesting concept would be a shooter like those 2d sniper flash-games where it is more
about studying your surroundings, identifying targets, ect. than actual shooting.
It's by fucking City Interactive. That's the reason I WILL NOT be buying this game unless many people say it's decent. I've played two games made by them. Both were TERRIBLE. Although I like the trailer, I'm not touching this thing with a 10 foot pole until I hear some good things to win back my respect.

Same engine as call of juarez bound in blood, i think it's called CHROME 4 engine

Holy shit, I loved Sniper Elite. This looks pretty good, and depending on the reviews, or if there's a demo, I might buy it.
Hmm, I liked sniper elite, I was a bit dubious about getting it after seeing that headshots trailer because of the highlighted enemies and no bullet drop etc but if that's only because it was easy mode then I will get this for sure.
This looks like the kinda game I'd play for an hour and then get bored. Make it £10 and I might have a go.
I giggled at the melee attack, I thought he was going to knock him out from behind, but he just punched him in the face. :v:

Finally a new actual sniping game. I've played Sniper Elite to hell and back. Need something new to play now. Definite buy :v:
I actually want this because its a sniping game that takes skill. You have to hide, you have to take into consideration the wind speed and gravity, and then you have to take out enemies that are near other enemies.
