Yeah, I'm not one for self-promoting, but we've put pretty much work into this, so I hope you guys would give it a watch.

It's part of a concert recorded by my friend and one of his pals, and then edited by me and my friend. We're obviously amateurs (did anyone say "colour continuity errors"?), but we put quite a bit of effort into this. And if I had to say so myself, the end result is pretty great. The track's not all that easy either - loads of 16th note hits and so on, but I think we did a pretty good job with that as well. The whole concert's up if anyone has ~45 minutes to spare.
I'll be watching the concert later, you guys were steady and had great tone.
really, really dig it. love the drummer, too.

He's amazing - to be honest our rhythm section could probably do with a better brass section.
A little background; we're a high school big band, we play once a week and in the nature of it being a high school big band around a third is changed out each year. I reckon we're pretty good, but after going to the US last year and Germany this one, we're not quite up there with the big guys - but those trips really increased the ambition of the band, and for the three years I've (I'm the trombone beside the sole black guy) played in it, we've only gotten better. Sadly I probably can't continue playing next year, but that's life I guess.
Really happy you guys liked it, it means a lot to me - here's a playlist for the whole gig: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTeHMuuoEtprt7AKIVOw_nUHBlfjxq52y
