Looks like Telltale game with actual budget. Might be interesting if the choices actually matter.
Appears you play as both the apes and humans?
I laughed pretty hard at the monkey t-posing in the background at 2:40. Companies still can't get rid of that it seems. For a movie game it looks alright, but I'm kinda sick of these types of games at this point. Probably not for me.
wait this is telltale??
wait this is telltale??
it is being made by Imaginati Studios
wait this is telltale??
Do you see graphics from the last decade.
Do you see graphics from the last decade.
No you're right what was I thinking.
-snip- it take's place after 2 and before 3
I would have wished this came out earlier or at least found out about it earlier. I would have played this before the 3rd movie
When I initially saw Walking Dead as a tell tale game I laughed my fucking ass off and thought it was going to be shit. I couldn't have been more wrong, at least with S1. I'll be keeping my eyes on this incase it turns out to be good.
Those humans look like Alan Wake faces. So what is this game going to be like? Is it the telltale choose your story type play, just by a different studio?
Definitely interested in this. Voice acting & facial animations look a bit dodgy, but Apes is sorely lacking in the gaming department.
Appears you play as both the apes and humans?
humans are an ape.
Putting a single adjective to explain the intent of a choice to prevent any [glass him] situations is such a simple and elegant thing I wonder why nobody thought of it before (unless I'm missing something and some other game already did it).

I kinda groaned when I saw the title and screenshot, anticipating it to be some sort of third person shooter with apes. Real happy to see it's adopting a telltale style - I'm sure the style will fare better under a higher budget.
It's not a huge bother as long as the narrative and presentation is engaging enough, but I do hope the game won't be just action/dialog choices throughout the whole game as this video implies. Would love still some direct control to explore certain areas and interact with certain characters or objects optionally on the narrative during downtime ala Until Dawn style.
