ehh
Oh God, That dude in the trailer that you guys may or may not have picked up that Cajun accent. He's the same actor who played as the Trans-Female "Venus Van Damme" character in Sons of Anarchy. (And I forgot he was Billy West from Django) I hope the character he plays in this one is just as crazy.
it looks good but i still hate how they did "The H8ful Eight" cheapens it imo

trailer really didn't catch me like previous tarantino film trailers have. but i'll still see it since it's tarantino, i'm sure it'll be good. you can pick up the vibes regardless of how this was edited and put together.
looks ok
It wouldn't be the first time Kurt Russell has been in a snowy shack claiming someone is not who they say they are.
We can always use more Kurt Russell.

Looks like an 8/8 film, mate.
I was wondering why the movie was so god damn wide, and had huge black bars. Then I watched the end of the teaser, and it says it's shot on 70mm. Nice.
It will surely be a great movie but the trailer didn't make me super excited.
:hypeisreal: Seriously though, can't wait to go see this with my father.
I'm heavily reminded of Reservoir Dogs.
django appearance pls
django appearance pls
post-credits scene for django unchained the miniseries or someone gets shot in the theater by jamie foxx pick one
I mean it -is- a teaser trailer so of course they don't want to show off everything, but it seems like the film spends quite some time in that lodge of theirs. God I love how Tarantino takes like 1-3 locations in his films and makes them just as much characters as the cast, it's a hard style to pull off and Tarantino is the master of it.
Michael Madsen how I've missed you.
I actually get a pretty great "reservoir dogs" feeling when I watch this
It will surely be a great movie but the trailer didn't make me super excited.
i don't think tarantino's movies are suited for trailers the typical style of movie trailers don't really show his biggest strengths
i don't think tarantino's movies are suited for trailers the typical style of movie trailers don't really show his biggest strengths
That's how I felt watching the trailer, like there's something about the movie that they couldn't fit in there without it being twenty minutes long
They always market Tarantino's films the wrong way. Looking at the previews for Inglorious Basterds, you would've thought it was an action flick.
I'm looking forward to this but I can already tell I'm going to be thinking about how much I would rather have Christoph Waltz play Tim Roth's part instead
i don't think tarantino's movies are suited for trailers the typical style of movie trailers don't really show his biggest strengths
At least we didn't get a terminator trailer to get everything spoiled
They always market Tarantino's films the wrong way. Looking at the previews for Inglorious Basterds, you would've thought it was an action flick.
i really disagree. they've always got a distinct style to them, and the first trailer for inglorious basterds was great. (also are you implying that basterds isn't an action film? I mean on the spectrum of tarantino flicks it's not kill bill but it's definitely not pulp fiction) and then django's was great as well. most of tarantino's trailers have a fair heft of cheese on top of them, in line with portions of the films they represent.
I'm looking forward to this but I can already tell I'm going to be thinking about how much I would rather have Christoph Waltz play Tim Roth's part instead
I think it's about time Tim Roth gets put in a good film. I loved him from Lie To Me and that Incredible Hulk movie.
I remember being completely sold on Django Unchained after just the first trailer.
tim roth looks like varg vikernes in this movie
