http://www.wright.edu/cats/technical/eventstream/ It hasn't started yet (should start in about 5-10 minutes). But you can listen to some snazzy tunes while you wait! Also, I don't know if this will end up being the most boring and/or poorly produced thing on earth or not. But hey! If you are bored you can watch the famous astrophysicist talk about space. EDIT: Tip... hit "pop out" for a larger, re sizable video stream EDIT: Started
My brain is ready.

Lol damn they must be running late Also this music is catchy as fuck I like the escapee zoo animal sounds they have going on at the beginning of this track [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Started!
How long will it last? I mean, it's already 01:14 here. So it's going to be a long night.
Ughhh of course they take this time to talk about how much WSU rocks and blah blah blah [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Okay he's actually on now lol [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Lol I feel so guilty I'm not there right now when I live 20 minutes away and its free and that dude drove 17 hours to watch this live
I'm loving this.
The universe is too complicated to spend our TIIIIMEEE for big words.
Earth is smaller than solar acne, confirmed.
Though, I think Carl Sagan was a better speaker. I'm not sure.

I got there just in time for the last two questions. Totally worth it.
very enjoyable and interesting panel
His last statement where we may not be smart enough to ask the right questions made me depressed i'm going to go and chug an entire bucket of ice cream
I got to watch most of it, that was an excellent talk. Thanks for posting it.
Loved the answer about doing hard things and sign up for all the hard classes because you feel fufilment and achievement after you complete them, even if it means your GPA takes a hit, to the high school senior going into college. As that is what really gets you far in life, rather than a good GPA. What a perfect motivational piece of advice. Going to the moon not because it is easy, but because it is hard, etc. Also loved the answer involving him talking about getting education/jobs/science to stay in the US is all about having those opportunities here and lots of funding here so kids get excited about them (with or without a teacher) and kids who graduate wanting to love science and such work here instead of working somewhere else as a solution to keeping jobs in the US.
I'm really interested in seeing how the new Cosmos turns out. I really hope they don't change the style too much, but hearing how Tyson described it he seems like he can be trusted to do a fine job.
