Pretty awesome, Ive seen similar demos but this one takes the cake :D

I hope that we never actually go that far that we can know what other people like just by taking a look at them.

well a lot of us are already as transparent as possible
It looks like they took every "future hologram" fad and put them in one video
the date part was stupid. whats the point of a date if the machine tells you what to do.
One would think that they would hide their acheivments for games before they bring someone over.
You don't see me displaying every one of my PS3 trophies as stickers on my wall.
To be honest I wouldn't want to see such a thing become real even in a remote future.

TV bit was pretty cool. I'd love to have something that would project a monitor or TV onto anywhere I was looking at any scale. But even with that, if they looked as douchey as they did in that video there's no chance I'd wear them.

I would want something like this in the future.
Not be able to read peoples minds or anything but be able to take information publicly accessible from the internet and post it on my screen so I can read it.
I mean a hud system for real life would be crazy amounts of useful.
But going extreme and turning everything into a game would make people that like to get 100% every time kinda crazy.
This seems more like a satire than an actual idea of the future. Which makes it more hilarious that the OP wants Google Glass to become this.
I can't see this ever actually happening in reality, not that it's actually a demo it's just a video if anyone bothered to click through to vimeo itself.
HUD is pretty to look at in a movie format, but IRL I think anything but a minimal HUD could get into the way quickly I think. It's another level of irritation compared to frames of glasses or your own nose imo, tho I guess I wouldn't exclude people getting used to it eventually.

Eh, it's weird from a current perspective, but values and expectations change all the time. It might become totally normal to partake in a little arms race of apps and counter-apps that read you. It's already normal to spill all your worries and share all your hobbies and thoughts on a global network everyone can freely access. Ask people from a few decades prior what they'd think of such a system.
It's like Facebook Apps - 24/7 Whenever, wherever.
Holy shit
So I can punch people through the internet now?

the Google machine will be keeping an eye on these people
it wants us to be eased into it.
My vision is augmented.
Its a cool concept.
i cant wait to be bombarded with advertisement 24/7 that i can never turn off.
The progression was interesting. First it's relatively harmless - just a skydiving app. No harm there.
Then we have a cooking app, where the dude just chucks perfectly good food over a score in a game. Okay, slightly irritating.
Then he basically brute forces a date and ends up altering her HUD (and presumably mind, seeing as she had a dead halt) so that she'd stay with him. Eerie.

Adblock plus for your eyes :v:
this seems more like the concept for a dystopian future novel.
Its a bit unrealistic, but I mean, glass was a bit disappointing when it was shown :P but still alpha so whatever. Also I hope it doesn't go as far as it did in the video but AR is still really fuckin cool. Plus the dude worked for the company apparently and that's why he could control her, I think.
I never asked for this

The part at the beginning where it shows him just sitting on a couch with quite empty room was a bit sad.

"Nice place"
The apartment is completely empty with only digital images displayed on the walls.
what this kinda reminded me of

OP wants Google Glass to become a digital date-rape drug?
