How fast was the wind? Also I was expecting it fully off the ground but that's still cool to see.
Haha that plane is a bro
Shouldn't they have those strapped down or something?
I can see alot of money lost if it had collided with another plane.
I think thats a breakers yard? i can see some chopped up fuselages in the background, So it wouldn't matter much if they got damaged.
What if it just has massive hydraulics?

But the 747 looks like it's in good condition. It's just missing its engines.

If something is very wrong you don't always see it. There are thousands of things that could break without you even noticing it.
roads? Where were going we don't need,Roads.
When I read the title, I thought that the plane was lifting off as normal and then a gust of headwind counteracted the lift off resulting in a hover type departure. But that's not fucking possible.

The wheels have breaks and if there was enough wind to actually pick the plane up and fucking knock it into something, it's the apocalypse so fuck it.

I doubt that the plane is being scrapped seeing as, according to Southern Air's website, they just bought a whole fleet of 747s. Given the condition of the plane and the information, I'd say it's not going to be scrapped anytime soon.
Someone left the flaps up?
Someone left the flaps up?
they seem to be down. usually they're up when the aircraft is parked.
Someone left the flaps up?
It wouldn't make a difference, it's the tail thats making the nose lift.
They should have locked the elevators down.
i too am an expert on air planes
Sometimes I set the wind speed to 200mph in Microsoft Flight Sim X, and take off in the F/A-18 Hornet heading into the wind, and pretend I'm flying a Harrier jumpjet.
