Lol gg Tennessee. Also they're pretty dumb to be putting this all on Facebook where they could end up getting even more time.
damn those dudes are munchin out better than i do (all dem vending machine snacks), but their weed absolutely sucks though
I can't exactly blame them for abusing the system if it works for them. If it were me I'd probably be trying to do the same thing, what people should be complaining about is the lack of attention being paid to it by the state rather than those benefiting from that lack of attention.
brb committing a crime so I can have a good time aswell
yeah dr lets go smoke it up blaze it
lmao look at this anti-prisoner propaganda.
Whats wrong with making music in prison? :v:
I like how they said that singing was a bad thing to do in prison.
lmao look at this anti-prisoner propaganda.
you've got to be trolling mayne,
living it up locked in a cell without being able to directly interact with the rest of society
There's a humor tag for a reason, so you shouldn't take it too seriously.
that looks like some dirt weed
Way too common here.
Well look on the bright side there's little chance of them trying to break out
That weed looked so fucking awful. Middle schoolers get better weed than what they showed.
whatever, jail isn't a punishment it's to keep dangerous people from the rest of the poulation. i don't care if it's fucking chuck e cheese in there as long as they're not robbing anybody outside, besides i'll bet a lot of them got in there for our retarded ass laws anyway. our jails wouldn't be using up so much money if we weren't sending peeps there for smoking dope.
That weed looked so fucking awful. Middle schoolers get better weed than what they showed.
They are behind bars, not in the nearby park. Hell if i was locked up i'd smoke shitty weed then no weed.

As a former correctional officer watching this video nearly gave me a heart attack. That prison must be a fucking nut house, I can't imagine the type of fights and assaults that happen daily. No control on the officers part, no internal controls being followed, nothing is being followed. It is a free for all. I bet there is all kinds of weapons in the housing units. How they even maintain a staff of guards is beyond me (I bet most of them are dirty too). The state needs to pull their head out of their ass and get their shit fixed

Wow, this news team did actually did a really good job. Showing how corrupt it all is and bringing it to the public's eye. If that was in my state and that's what my taxpayers money was going towards, then I would feel very robbed. What I don't understand is how they can get so much in without being caught or even feel worried they might get caught out if anyone sees this, it's not it's a big secret if they've been posting on facebook like that, obviously all mutual friends and their family must know what they're up to.
The liberty to make music? Stop this sick filth.
For some reason I imagine it being some peaceful utopia where everybody has drugs, internet and snacks.
Except the whole fact that they probably don't play video games and have actually committed a crime or killed somebody.
They're ADAPTING to a life behind bars?? Oh the humanity!
They're ADAPTING to a life behind bars?? Oh the humanity!
They're breaking prison rules without consequence and boasting about it, either suggesting that the guards are either hugely incompetent or dirty - either of which is a serious problem.

Prison should be a place where they can enjoy it enough that they'd want to stay in there forever and that ladies and gentlemen that is how you keep 'em off the streets permanently.
They're breaking prison rules without consequence and boasting about it, either suggesting that the guards are either hugely incompetent or dirty - either of which is a serious problem.
The US prison industry is dirty in itself. I can't imagine being locked up in one of those shitholes - if it's one thing they're NOT it's "correctional facilities". The US prisons are built for two reasons: making money and carrying out horrible revenge on people who are already in a difficult situation in their life outside the walls. This is why I don't view this as a big deal. It's just corporate media catering to the interests of rich prison owners who are laughing all the way to the bank. Note that I'm advocating a correctional system instead of an exclusively punishing one, I'm not opposed to the existence of jails.
For some reason I imagine it being some peaceful utopia where everybody has drugs, internet and snacks.
I doubt it, stuff like this creates a very hostile environment. For a lot of reason, inmates that don't have these items will do anything to get them - attack, kill, etc. I don't have a problem with these guys having things to do, but they've already broken some really serious laws and are continuing to do so while in prison. The stuff they're doing are serious issues and usually result in admin-punishment and additional charges. There is a huge difference between having a very strict structure, having programs that rehabilitates and allow people to do whatever the fucking please. Plus allowing this type of behavior does increase the risk of escape which is not good - I've seen people who had like 7 days to being releases and this person escaped and ended up getting additional time. It's kinda disturbing that people in this thread find this acceptable, this is a correctional institution that has to abide by state and federal law and they're not doing it. The facility isn't a day-care, it is suppose to punish people. (You don't have to like the idea but that is it overall purpose at this point till public opinion changes that) Mean while it is utilizing tax payer's money and the money is clearly being misused. These people in the videos are murders, rapist and other serious offenders. These guys are not you poor john doe who got caught with a few oz of weed.
