I bet he's gonna try for the final episode to release on Christmas.
That or New Years Eve
This part of Xen was the shittiest with platforming.
Unless he really rushs it I expect at least 4 more episodes.

"How The G-Man Stole Christmas"
I can't believe it's finally nearing the end. It's almost surreal. How many years has it been since it started?

Seven I believe.
Damn, that fundraiser definitely helped. For those who don't know, he held a kickstarteresque fundraiser a few months earlier that would have made Freeman's Mind 720p (cause he has to add motionblur to the video in order to make it watchable), with the top goal stating he would finish the series by year's end. And, uh, he definitely made that goal.
I'm super glad he's finishing the series and I'm very glad he has the fanbase in order to do so.
Jesus, he's pumping these out like crazy. I don't know if I can handle it.
Unless he really rushs it I expect at least 4 more episodes.
He uploads them weekly, and there is only 3 weeks left from this year, so he will have to upload more than one per week. That's crazy considering there were usually 1-2 per month.
Considering how fast Ross is approaching the end of the game, I wonder if he's going to do Half-Life 2...

It took him 7 years and a month to finish Half-Life 1 though...
So that leaves the grunt processing, or whatever that technically is, and then the final ominous teleporter before the big finale, right? I wonder if he'll blast the vortigaunts in the face on sight.

When I say fast, I mean he's really been picking up the pace of the uploads.
He has said in the past that so long as there is still interest he doesn't really see a reason to not move on to Half-Life 2 though.
Think about how weird it will be though. Just go listen to the audio from any episode while watching a clip of Half-Life 2.

He might try and sneak up on them, point his gun at one, and then gasp in astonishment when they don't fire upon him. That'd be a much more entertaining video if he's yelling nonsense at enemies that don't react to him.

I earlier said I expect about 4 more episodes because the next section before the factory isn't a short one. So that's one. Next the factory is actually pretty large level so I expect about 2 videos. Lastly, you have the very short jumping section to the evil teleport and final boss and that could be done in one episode.
Do you think we'll see a Freeman's Mind for HL2?
I used to think that you were supposed to use the island mouths to boost yourself up to the floating platforms before I discovered the cave.
Why do people enjoy this? It's so boring

Probably, given that this is what Ross is mainly known for now.

Now eagerly awaiting the release of Freeman's Mind 2: Electric Boogaloo. :v:

Man, why do people enjoy comedy?
it would be nice to see some more Civil Protection when he's done with this

a thousand times yes

I remember using both options on different playthroughs.
I've played through HL1 twice at least, never noticed that the vorts don't shoot you in the grunt factory.
