That was really nice. A lot of people hate Superman because he's "poorly written" and quite obviously over powered. But he's still one of my favorite heroes. second favorite next to Bats. Also if Supes wasn't invented 75 years ago, most if not all super heroes today wouldn'tm exist, at least not how they are presented.
Superman is most popular when people are down and uncertain, when things are going good he tends to dip in popularity, but without him, the landscape would be a lot more barren.
