It's that time again boys and girls.
The narration and entire intro feels a lot like Portal. This is pretty interesting, honestly.
Wow that is actually pretty unnerving, I like the dual narrative occurring between the two AIs.
I'm so confused, honestly. But I want to see more.
I'd rather wait for someone else's let's-play to be honest.
Looks really cool. I wish Scott had just gone on to make this as soon as he finished the first one, because it actually feels like a proper sequel.
Okay, that Popcorn scene was pretty damn good.
Just a reminder that the games are actually not bad, especially this one. But the fanbase is a horror show.
I wish he would talk and keep playing instead of stopping to talk, it's quite unwatchable
Well, Scott definitely gave a presentation boost.
I must say, the months that Scott spent on this made it the most interested I've been in his games ever. Even though I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to scary games, this actually makes me want to watch more. Markiplier's silly commentary makes it slightly more bearable in that regard, too.
Scott should post the whole popcorn series on youtube or something
[sp]is it me or could they be foreshadowing[/sp]

"He's sleeping on the ceiling fan!"
"Upright or upside-down?"
The presentation is so much better than the previous games. Kudo's to Scott constantly finding ways to change and iterate the formula.

I think he's still using that mouse-based engine that's really old and probably not meant for shit this complex.

Last time I heard Scott is actually really passionate about making games that are good. It's just that he's pressured by the absolutely awful fanbase to shit them out as much as possible.
I might have to go back and play FNAF 3 and 4. Been content to watch Markiplier play them, but this looks genuinely terrifying.
3 and 4 are pretty fking bad compared to the first 2 imo
I thought the consensus was 1 was the best while 3 was the one that came closest to it.
3 and 4 are pretty fking bad compared to the first 2 imo
The general consensus I see is that 1 is still great, 2 pretty much became busywork, 3 was inconsistent and had deaths that were basically unavoidable depending on your luck, and 4 was okay but pretty fucking hard.
i dont play the games but im weird and i enjoy just watching them because i genuinely really like the atmosphere and i used to lowkey fall asleep to fnaf streams all the time because im dumb
2 was my favorite to watch, 1 is hard to judge because like yeah its good but idk its kinda weird because its the one that started all so it could easily be the game that did it the best since i dont really know how good it could get, 3 was interesting but overall really weird (didn't watch it much), 4 seemed like complete random garbage to me
4 was pretty much 85% audio. You had to listen specifically for the animatronics and keep them out, and cockblock Foxy every time he gets in your closet, while periodically checking on your bed. Without listening carefully to the audio (which opens you up to the scares unless you watch deathless footage), pretty much all the tension is purely in the limited visuals which just isn't enough to keep it interesting unfortunately.
That's a pretty catchy tune for the "SHIFT COMPLETE" screen.
when the hell did markiplier get a silky smooth radio voice

since.. always? that's one of the things he's always been known for is his voice
That TV cartoon reminds me so much of the ingame TV shows from Max Payne 2 & 3.
Pt 2 is up.

for a game about jumpscares, I gotta say. There seems to be a lot more work put into this one. It's pretty unnerving.
This seems like it has a higher production value than previous games with the decent voice acting.
I like it.
Gotta' say, there seem to be some nice concepts in this one. Seems to actually build upon the first game.
Scott really took a different direction with this one it seems. I'm genuinely curious about the story and everything.
With the cringe commentary and emo-cringe 2005 haircut & color, I'll wait for different lets plays. However, muting it and watching the gameplay, this looked pretty interesting. I wouldn't personally buy it, but good on the franchise for becoming something more than jumpy scare.
