However, they mentioned the cushion of air eminating from the difference in temperature of the sand and dry ice. The sand is hotter than the dry ice to cause that.
Mars is a very cold planet, and the highest you'll get is maybe 70 degrees fahrenheit around the equator at a certain point in the summer. Is a difference in temperature all you really need, or is it a matter of actual heat?
