And a bonus: Bonus link fixed! Added to OP thanks to Elspin!
I'd rather just buy a gun [editline]08:17PM[/editline] Not to mention it seems a lot safer
That's incredible.
I would like to see what it would do to ballistic gelatin.
I'd like to see what it'd do to my ass
The bonus video is the same.
You posted the same video twice. Imagine what we can do with small nuclear batteries?
Pretty awesome. Any gun expert can tell me if it can kill human sized target?
Interesting how there's only a cardboard box and his fence blocking a possible miss from flying out into the street lol.
It doesn't look that powerful, probably couldn't penetrate human skin unless from point blank range.
for a while I thought it was going to be some sort of taser/laser gun sort of thing. this is cool too. man, what you can do with a college degree (or google) and a local hardware store.
You posted the same video twice. Imagine what we can do with small nuclear batteries?
It's not really the power supply that matters ; it's the capacitors. You need a large current (I think , haven't touched on that side of electromagnets in physics) in a battery , and a quick capacitor. Then you are ready

It looks cool, that's about it. Other than that it's pretty useless.
It looks menacing but it really doesn't do much, perhaps less than an air rifle. Maybe if the slug was smaller it might do something.
that is one evil looking gun.
I was expecting it to shoot out lightning or something. Still pretty cool.
Pretty awesome. Any gun expert can tell me if it can kill human sized target?
It will kill a human alright. I'm no gun expert, but it'll kill a human. Also fixing bonus-link.
Now THIS is a stealthy gun. Almost no sound at all.
It looks a bit less powerful than an air rifle, but those slugs are big and heavy. I wonder what kind of damage and penetration you would get with it if it used air rifle pellets or 9mm sized bullets.
If anybody makes one of these, they should make it the exact same way, but with much smaller slugs so they go faster and further.
Pretty awesome. That said, the energy stored in the capacitors is far greater than what is needed to kill someone if discharged into them. So yeah, it's most definitely lethal if you stick you finger across the capacitor terminals
The fucking future is here.
where to get giant fucking capacitors?

You would probably die if it hit you right.
Let the bodies hit the floor.
I FUCKING WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!! /casp
that was amazing
I thought it was some sort of tesla cannon at first.
