It's less a sequal and more a spin off
it seems like the trials devs or ubisoft just asked the other if they could do this and bam it happened
I see nothing wrong with it tbh. And I really don't see a legit sequal really working for BD. It's one of those things that are amazing once and only once, or maybe would work with a spin off.

It's a bit fucked that it's basically just a reskin, but it's kind of like Joe Dirt, or Conkers bad fur day. It works really well but, only can really be done once properly, unless you make a really fucking awesome sequal and one up yourself
