mlg as an organization itself is shitty, and the only things they rely on to bring in viewers is cod and sc2.
Competitive gaming on consoles is just counter-productive as the game itself helps you to aim. Even if the game offers to turn it off, it's left on for matches.

They're sensationalists in a way. As said above, they really only now have starcraft matches and call of duty matches with minor gaming in between. Anything that isn't starcraft is playing on consoles, and the actual matches themselves (except for starcraft matches) are just filled with dumb commentary and rather boring gameplay.

aim-assist can be turned off in gta4, so i assume it will be able to be turned off in this

There are playlists WITH aim assist, and playlists WITHOUT aim assist in the multiplayer for Max Payne 3

SOCOM was probably one of the first really competitively professionally played console games ever and it`s third person. And there`s Gears of War. Those both are great competitive third person games, max payne is just a little more floaty

1. Why would you play a competitive shooter on a console? PC controls are measurably more responsive. I'm not doing some "PC master race" thing, I'm just saying that if you want people to perform at their peak then you should be doing it on a PC because they will perform better on it. It's like having football players play expressly on muddy terrain.
