Yeah I know a couple of these have probably been posted and i know its just the camera.

But it does look nifty.

Well you can do it with quite a lot of cameras actually, but most of these were with iphones.

Most cameras with CMOS sensors or physical rolling shutters will do this to some extent because each frame is scanned rather than an instant snapshot taken, but each frame isn't scanned onto your screen when played back, so different parts of a single frame occurred at different times. The helicopter one is because the rotors are spinning at a speed where, with each frame the camera takes, one of the rotor blades will be in roughly the same place where one was when the last frame was taken.
