You know, aside from the terrible ground combat, this is one of the better F2P MMO's out there. The leveling experience is a lot of fun and you feel like you're actually advancing in Starfleet

Eh, I think the space combat is the one, super-sized crutch that holds it up. The story mediocre, the crafting and DOff systems are nearly completely pointless, the time-gating is absurd, and they double-dip with both TF2-style loot crates, and overly high store prices.
