This is why I always pirate films instead (User was banned for this post ("warez" - postal))
I hate seeing films at the cinema. I went to see Die Hard 5, and some cunt near me fell asleep and was snoring very loudly. Other people were eating from loud-ass bags and kept laughing, and after the whole experience [sp]John Mcclane's yipee-ki-yay motherfucker line was censored anyway JUST for the British theatrical release[/sp]. Fuck you, cinemas.
This is why I always pirate films instead
whew, its good thing you have a really trivial excuse to pirate things.
I went to see The Lord of the Rings (I think it was return of the king). Anyway, a group of retarded people were there to see it too, for some reason they found the battle scenes very funny..
crisp bags should be banned in cinemas
this guy is a genious
crisp bags should be banned in cinemas
At least they don't sell these anymore One time on vacation, my dad woke everyone up in the morning by walking into the room crinkling one.
Is that entire bag made out of aluminum foil?
Gotta hate people too who don't stop talking during every scene of the movie.
Is that entire bag made out of aluminum foil?
it might as well, you coulc flick it to make loud as fuck pang sounds that you would get from pans.
That'd be cool if the theater could give you like a cardboard container for these kinds of foods so you can take it out of the loud packaging.
it seems like every movie I go to watch is ruined by someone that is sick and coughs throughout the film.
If somebody had a chip bag that could blot out the sound blasting from my local theater's speakers I would call in top audiological scientists to study it's extraordinary capabilities.

Why bother when you can just rent it later You go, you pay what is it now, $10 a ticket to see the movie, and invest in stocks for popcorn. You walk to a seat that hopefully doesn't have a random stranger sitting next to it with their loud friends, your feet sticking to the floor with every step. You get there, hope that some dickface that's 6'5 doesn't decide to sit directly in front of you. Then you get the picture which is always blurry. The only awesome part of going to a theater is the audio (Usually). The rest is annoying. Would rather watch it in high def at home, sitting on my couch, with my own surround sound system
The best part of going to the cinema is when you are the bunch of idiots who laugh and make loud noises during the movie.

guy sees someone eating hot dog on screen "MAN I HAD ONE OF THOSE THE OTHER DAY" guy sees someone driving a ford car "OH HEY I HAVE A FORD" guy sees someone on an iphone "HEY I HAVE ONE OF THOSE HAHA" like fuck this is the reason why i don't see movies i'm really interested in at the cinema
I unfortunately experienced a similar problem recently. Poor group timing led to us being late entering the theater and the whole room was packed so we ended up having to sit on the far left in the front row seats. Ergonomics aside, they guy sitting behind us was truly obnoxious. Nothing ruins the immersion of a movie more than some guy behind you, at the climax of the film, whispering "what a twist!"
sharing an experience with a large group of people is a great thing.
You can do that at home with people you like for a $6 rental without the grievances of a public place
it drives me nuts when a bunch of people practically "force" laughter over every, single, possibly not even funny part of the movie.
If I plan on seeing a movie in a cinema, I usually wait for the hype to die down and then see it. There's not much of a crowd that way and I can actually enjoy it.
I once went to the cinema with my friends and the room was completely empty. It was amazing.
Best time to go to theaters,in my experience, is noon on a non-holiday Moday. I remember I went to see The Expendables with some friends. It was just me and 3 friends. No body else was in the theater. Best movie experience ever.
it's always great to see shlocky stuff in theaters though. i saw both snakes on a plane and the a-team in a packed theater on opening day, some of the best movie watching experiences of my life
