Adding a live feed from a camera mounted on the copter itself would be really fun to try out.
I don't see the point in controlling it with your head? Seems a bit inept. Was expecting a camera mounted on the quadcopter so the controller could see exactly where it was going, whilst controlling it with a remote or something.

Probably the end goal. AR drone has a camera and can stream to Android devices.
Live 3D feed to an Oculus Rift would be neat.
If they developed this more you could have something like a real-life mouse cursor.

has two camera's one in front and one in the belly.
The payload isn't suited for two gopros, but other quadcopters have done this.

You're kinda limited on the pan and tilt if done with stereo cameras due to weight and size.
