I don't disagree that Larry deserves to be punished for his actions, and I would NEVER want this father to be punished for this, but we literally can't have this happening, and it literally goes against the point of our justice system. You don't just let your emotions get the better of you and start trying to beat up the mean man.

You cant blame a father for his emotions for his daughter, that's hard coded into us.
That's why we have a justice system, so those that are emotionally involved aren't in charge.

Not only that, but if I understood correctly, he hadn't heard their testimony until right that day, they refused to let him know exactly what happened prior to that

I hate this holier-than-thou crap that people push sometimes. Like 'I wouldn't do this if was in his shoes, I'm a calm jedi' really now? Bullshit. At the very least you'd be furious. I sympathise with the father in this situation.

I would have likely tried the same, I'd have been absolutely no better than him because I don't think I'd know how to deal with that kind of fucked up situation.
You have to think about it from his perspective, and I don't understand what its like but the dudes daughters were violated, that isn't anger you can just bottle up because its the type of shit that'll control you. You [B]HAVE[/B] to release it. He just happened to release it at the wrong time and the wrong place.
He'd have been better off releasing it in a boxing ring or at a firing range, maybe talk it out with someone something healthy and productive.

I'm so happy that no one was hurt though, and nothing came out of it.
The police took the appropriate action and everything worked out.
The emotions from the video are palpable, it genuinely hurts to watch it.
Few if any of us can say we've experienced that kind of emotional pain firsthand so how can anyone say we'd "do the right thing" and behave?

So you're trying to hold everyone in the world to this standard, we should all become emotionally dull for the greater good of humanity progressing? This is just a father, a random guy who would otherwise not be anywhere near a courtroom and was dragged into this by a disgusting man potentially ruining and leaving an everlasting impression on his daughters life. What person wouldn't be emotional? He's not a cop or a judge who's actually required to be impartial and calm (and even they aren't all the time)
