That's one huge alien nipple.

Also, the trailer shows way too much.
The teaser got me hyped up, this kind of ruined it.
I just came and started farting, Seriously though, This looks absolutely stunning!
For the not-so-eagle-eyed: xenomorph thing at 1:36 and a facehugger or chestburster or something at 2:04.
Looks pretty rad.
Will the story line be as good as the CGI though?
why does the alien prequel feature more advanced tech than all of the other alien movies?
i want 1980s future dammit
I spy The Old Man of Storr in that trailer.
yes
So they find aliens that want to blow up earth but it somehow has something to do with space jockeys and xenomophs? Tell me if im missing something.
Looks cheesy as fuck.
I liked the Alien films (we'll a couple of them), but I'm not very hyped for this.
The other trailed(preview?) had me more excited.
I feel like they revealed too much of the storyline in this trailer.
you see the alien ship blow up though
rip suspense

fucking this
the art direction seems kinda shit, excluding geiger's stuff

It started off as a film in the Alien series, then progressed into a film in the Alien universe with "Alien DNA" as they say, basically i think this is just telling us the story of the space jockeys and how they ended up where they are and what they were really doing with all the xenomorph eggs.

the big round helmets and shiny spacesuits look pretty early-sci-fi to me
I'm almost certain I saw a live space jockey there, and maybe a new alien.

I think there is a bit more to the film than that.

Pretty sure that was also shown in the first trailer. Or at least the ship crashing.
I feel like they revealed too much of the storyline in this trailer.
Exactly.
Sometimes I fucking hate trailers.

Been there, done that.
I've seen a lot of trailers having the ending in them and I end up thinking the exact same thing, and I am proven wrong and left disappointed at the end of ït.

Actually the original Alien was released in 1979.
They should not so much plot into trailers. I don't want to hear lines like 'oh its going to earth, we have to stop it', when you go into a movie the plot should be a total mystery in movies like this.
almost wish i hadn't watched this trailer
i remember when i saw D9 without having seen a single trailer and the experience i got out of that was so much better than what i would have gotten if i had followed it closely
Alien and Aliens were stunning and worked great in canon. Everything else of the francise... not so much.
This seems like a trip to the good ol' days

Well the thing is, D9 didn't really spoil anything in its trailers.
To be honest it seems like the plot is going to be the same as Alien except this time there will also be an alien space ship.
I AM SO FUCKING
PUMPED FOR THIS SHIT
I don't know why I thought of mechassault when I read prometheus. I'd still watch the movie even if they revealed a bit too much.
