Too bad tech fucked up their shit
I absolutely love Joji's music but god damn the crews he has to deal with. He's new at performing live and I have no doubt that he will get better.
Holy shit he's taking off real good isn't he? Holy shit he's a day younger than me! Cool!
Why does the sound crew always get the bad wrap? I know that it takes constant tweaking and monitoring but it seems like there is a stereotype with sound guys and not giving a fuck. I some times roadie for my friend's drum teacher, dress up, entertain the crowd, etc. One time we went to this dive bar and right in the middle of our performance, the sound guy fucked off to go have a smoke, and never came back. We also had this other guy who could just not increase the dynamic range of the mics to save his life.

They hire a dude who knows a thing or two about hooking up microphones with XLR cables and let him run a small mixer. The bad reputation comes from these inexperienced, uneducated shitheads who run the consoles. Bands that don't have a soung guy have to rely on these dummies to produce the show, and it often results in bad performances and technical failures.
Also most people will only notice the sound when someone is messing it up. You don't usually consider it when it's good (unless you're a musician/sound tech), you just expect it.
I have nothing but support for this guy, haven't liked his FF videos as much as I did back in the day, but I know from his old vlogs and that one serious video he did that one time (since deleted) that he's a really good, genuine guy with a decent talent for music. Hope he finds happiness in whatever he chooses
unblock him bitch
I've always thought that while FF is okay, Joji's true destiny is not in comedy but in music, and maybe musical comedy. You could feel back in '13 he wanted to release this serious side but he couldn't because his cancerous fanbase held him back. It seems like he's broken off the shackles and is doing what he always wants to do.

Especially since FF has taken a wildly different direction in the last year or two with actual plot and story. And the success of Pink Season probably makes him quite happy. It's like he finally realised he doesn't actually have to listen to his fucking awful community or something because he's been doing much better, and his non-FF stuff is starting to actually get attention.
