No narrow corridor will ever be safe again.
Now my staircases aren't even safe from this monster.
They're using lizard pits, self awareness confirmed.
the leg setup is interesting, even though it's got that "double knee" thing going on it's still rather... humanlike. wonder what they're gonna use for the power source
I don't want this thing walk in front of me in some corridor especially holding a gun or something.
The movement looks like something out of amateur claymation. It's that weird balance between jerky and fluid motion.
Just the sound of it dropping off that ledge with all that weight is pretty intimidating for some reason.
i like how after it climbs the staircase it starts charging and then the video cuts off, almost like it falls off or something
It moves like something out of an old Claymation movie :v:
wonder what they're gonna use for the power source
Blood.
now put a machinegun on it's head
I love how far these machines have come, but I can't help but laugh as it walks up those stairs. Reminds me of a drunk friend frantically going up the stairs to his house.
Just the sound of it dropping off that ledge with all that weight is pretty intimidating for some reason.
I figured out, it just sounds so heavy and it's scary as hell.
This is a close relative to their PETMAN prototype. It pretty much uses the same body and leg structure.
It's movements are so fucking terrifying. It's not as bad as Big Dog, but holy shit it's unnerving.

Wrong PETMAN, it's actually based on an older one, but still funny :v:
This is a close relative to their PETMAN prototype. It pretty much uses the same body and leg structure.
Petman is really cool until you realise that it is just being developed to test chemical protection suits and not take over the world with an iron fist.
I figured out, it just sounds so heavy and it's scary as hell.
Just imagine being in a dark room and hearing the noise of it landing on the ground, then looking behind you and seeing the blinking lights, hearing the groan of metal on metal as it straightens out to run... If nothing else, these have amazing potential to be used in one of those haunted house attractions at Disney World and such. They'd probably be really expensive, but maybe once the technology becomes cheaper and easier to produce someone could look into it.
i like how after it climbs the staircase it starts charging and then the video cuts off, almost like it falls off or something
They cut it there because after that point the robot started tearing his creators to pieces. [editline]26th October 2012[/editline] probably.
give that thing a M240B and let it rock
give that thing a M240B and let it rock
The gunman inside me is wishing for two 50.s, but that would probably knock the poor thing on its ass.
Kill that fucking thing with fire and shove the ashes down on the fucking Mariana trench
Kill that fucking thing with fire and shove the ashes down on the fucking Mariana trench
Have you not seen Terminator? fire only makes him naked!
Just the sound of it dropping off that ledge with all that weight is pretty intimidating for some reason.
Yeah I was just about to say the same thing. When it landed I immediately saw it from the eyes of a target it's about to go kill.
Don't worry guys, I'm sure a good kick would still neutralize it. But it's cool to see how these robots keep progressing.
