Wow this is kinda embarrassing for those people. I feel kinda bad for the ones where the whole audience says "no" in unison.
Kimmel's comments towards some of those cosplayers are pretty grimy, mostly the woman with the brown outfit, the joker and that last guy
I actually thought it was pretty hilarious. I felt bad, but it was still Kimmel style humor.
Jimmy kimmel is unfunny and a dick. this sorta explains one of the things what makes him an absolute prick: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/11/19/why-jimmy-kimmel-s-lies-matter.html

Did you know that cosplayers actually have tons of sex back at the hotels? Food for thought.
Something like this would never be a problem in Austria. Isn't this called dark humor? Dont you guys think the people in the video agreed to have the footage shown? Isn't this like the best publicity ever for cosplayers? Appearing in a late night show? You are blowing this way out of proportion. How is Kimmel a dick for making fun of a bunch of cosplayers, Facepunch doey it on regular basis. You goddamn hypocrites.
Ha, Jimmy Kimme makes fun of a virgin, Facepunch dissaproves all of a sudden.

Kimmel is a fairly 'professional' comedy talk show host with an audience- live, TV and online- of millions. There's maybe a little bit of a difference here. [editline]8th August 2014[/editline] As somebody who adores dark humour, this is not dark humour. It's taking the piss out of people and making them feel ashamed for the entertainment of everybody else, which, unless they've done something wrong, is pretty unacceptable.
I only just realised that Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two different people.

I have no idea why you couldn't laugh about it. Dressing up as a fictional character as an adult isn't normal, and therefor people will laugh. Disclaimer; don't get your panties in a twist about me saying its not normal. I mean the 'median' normal here, not the colloquial normal.
I know it's easy to put the blame on the guy who seems to be running the show but in many cases talk show hosts don't write their own jokes. So before you call Kimmel a dick, just consider that it's more likely that the writers are the ones coming up with these segments, not him.
if you think this is in any way bad you should listen to howard stern talk about cons because he is so out of touch these days
I went to see Fallon rehearse his monologue jokes and he was a really awesome guy.
