well it's stupid because you don't actually learn anything from mnemonics
all that this level of 'mathematics' teaches you is how to apply pre-baked solutions to a set of really specific problems with no appreciation of how it actually works, ie completely useless outside the course

our teacher taught us "some old hippy caught another hippy tripping on acid" for those
some old hippy = sine, opposite side over hypotenuse
caught another hippy = cosine, adjacent side over hypotenuse
tripping on acid = tangent, opposite side over adjacent side

This is a far better minute physics video. OP's was actually terrible.
Lately Like most of my high school memories I forgotten most of the shit I learned, but seeing this allowed me to fucking remember how to do these problems all over again and went to my college and scored pretty much in the top tier so I didnt have to take some bullshit algebra course just to take the actual algebra course instead.
So thanks you just saved me some credit hours I didnt have to waste and it only took me a minute to fucking remember it.
