No, he is just tenderizing the flesh before feasting.
"Cats don't know how the circulatory system works.
Sorry."
This basically
I couldn't watch for more than 5 seconds I was that sad.
I made it two seconds in. I have my cat sleeping on my lap, so I didn't really want to watch the entire thing.
I thought it was going to be something similar to the Happy Tree Friends, or whatever.
:frown:
Summarizes my reaction.
sad

Yay, my comment!
For some reason I doubt it was out of compassion, but what else could it have been?
Animals can feel emotions you know. That's how instinct works.
But...how would it know to do CPR? It's an animal, not a human.

Oh get off my lawn the OP was just using personification so that you had something you could relate the cat's actions to.
I'm guessing it's like a "Hey, poke poke, wake up already... wake up... plz? I guess we're sleeping here then... eh? Eh?"
i honestly fucking cried. My throat hurts now.
It looks more like it's trying to do that thing it does when it's about to lay on something
I watched for 10 seconds and then started crying.

I didn't.
I got flamed for an entire page for it.
:saddowns:
:crying:
Well while it was likely tenderizing before a meal, attempting to wake it up, or else just a making comfortable, it -may- be possible that it was some form of CPR, or sorts.
Animals do not understand how bodies work, but instinctively they do have a subconscious knowledge of certain things. Animals know, instinctively, subconsciously, things such as the purpose of the throat, the location of the stomach, where the eyes are and their purpose, and of course things like the use and location of teats and sexual organs. It wouldn't surprise me if that cat, by some stretch, understood that the heart was located there and that it was an important organ and was attempting in some way to affect it.
Heard the first two notes of the cello come in and thought "oh boy some idiot thinks system of a down fits this video"
So at least I had a minor sigh of relief that they didn't put "Aerials" to a depressing scene. Good music choices +1
Sucks for the cat though :(

My cat was in my lap... I just hugged it when I finished watching the video :frown:
My cat does this to me when I'm sleeping because he knows it wakes me up when he's hungry, or just doesn't want me sleeping.
I seriously doubt its CPR, but I am certain its a sad attempt to "wake" his friend up.
Someone should speed this up and add the Benny Hill theme.

It's already sorta been done.

I broke into tears when the cat cuddled up ,and closed his eyes almost imitating crying..
It was just trying to wake it up. It has no idea what the fuck it is doing.
That was the saddest thing I have ever seen
... kitty ;_;
