I went along with some friends to see it. I haven't seen any of them since 1, but it wasn't [I]that[/I] bad. The trailer spoils a ton of it though, what the fuck. Like, over half of the movie wouldn't be surprising anymore if I had seen this trailer first.

I can imagine it not being that bad despite watching 1-3 and those weren't great. I want to watch this and actually enjoy a Paranormal Activity for once.

I stopped watching because I thought it was a horribly made parody of some sort.
I don't understand these movies. It's literally people dicking around in a scene for a good 98% of the time, then something moves in the background. Then it changes scene and it's the same thing.

I work at a movie theater. When the started last friday I got the lucky job of sitting in the theater and making sure no kids sneak in through the back.
I got paid to watch the whole movie (Which is like, 75 minutes, super short) and kick little kids out.
The movie is terrible BTW. I found it a funny because it's set in like the Mexican side of LA and I grew up around a same type of area.
These movies, for me at least, are made for the fun of going with friends. Yeah, they might not be top notch, and so maybe they aren't that original, it's still a fun experience to go with people. Whether you think it's scary or take it as a joke.

Honestly last time I went to a paranormal activity movie the whole theater was laughing.
This is a spin off, they've said it isn't part 5.
and the writers said they have an end goal in mind, a larger universe for the movies, to where it all comes together.
