It looks really good, that main menu looks amazing. Damn, I'm going to be so broke. Anyway do you need to play the previous installments in order to get a grasp of the game?

From what I'm hearing it's going to be a mixture of new story and continuation of DA2. Or to put it differently in DA2 you experience why some things are the way they are in DA:I.
Lipsync is abysmal. With such focus on story couldn't they work a bit more on making sure lips at least somewhat fit the voice?
Lipsync is abysmal. The gameplay looks.. Horrible, for archer. It like I'm playing WoW all over again. Running backwards/to the side while spamming arrows.

Even their pre-rendered trailer for Inquisition has terrible facial animation.

What happened to the over the shoulder camera?
Looks like they took a page from InFamous with the whole "the title screen explodes when you start a new game" thing.
Looks like they took a page from InFamous with the whole "the title screen explodes when you start a new game" thing.
Because those are the only two games that have ever done that.
There was another impression of the game where he said all the quests were generic fantasy quests. Like MMO level quests. He also said your character origins didn't matter at all, which was a big thing in Origins.
Really excited for this, actually. I just want more Warden. S/he was the best character. also oghren
I found Joe's character looked a lot like Commander Shepard.
Looks like the usual spamming everything when it gets off cooldown, which is a shame. Maybe one of the other classes is more interesting.
What happened to the over the shoulder camera?
It's still there? I very recently played both DA games and you are in the center of the screen. You can move the camera closer or further away and now in DA:I they bring back tactical view from above.

It might be an option that Joe just didn't pick.
Looks like the usual spamming everything when it gets off cooldown, which is a shame. Kinda lame
it looks really bland :/
Gee I wonder if you have to play the last two games in a trilogy to understand the third game?
It's not a trilogy, every game has a self contained story, but the events in DA2 lead to the events in DAI
So on a scale of DA:O to DA2, what is this game more like?
So on a scale of DA:O to DA2, what is this game more like?
DA2
DA2
I guess that's true, but seeing the bigger environments I think they removed one of the huge problems of DA2 where you kept going to the same locations.
Can't wait for plotholes galore and choices that make fuckall difference; that's the post-2007 Bioware I know and love! Seriously, Bioware is a shell of its former self, practically everyone who was there during the Baldur's Gate and Kotor years has moved on at this point, expecting a quality product from them is like expecting a baby not to shit itself; it's just not going to happen.
Wish I saved the stuff that paints just how shit of a game DA:I will be. One of the lead SENIOR designers is like fucking 24 years old and looks 15. Animation is absolutely atrocious with shit not even making sense in some cases. Horribly shit tier writing, at least from what I have seen with the characters, one I honestly thought was a joke to shit on the character, but only to find out it wasnt a joke, it was a real triple A written character done by professionals and it was the real image. Bioware is nothing but a name at this point, its entirely a shell of its former self. It lost pretty much the people that made it so good before.
that font is so terrible, it really doesn't fit this game's art style
