The kids towards the end are the best.
I would have exactly the same reaction as the boy.
I love how that kids phone sticks to the seat they're accelerating so fast :D
The power of instant torque.
I can't wait until this is the standard. If I did this with my shitty car the whole town would hear it.
I want one of these cars so badly.

I have been talking about Tesla a lot with the father of my best friend who ordered his Tesla Model S P85D 3 weeks ago and will arrive in May. I partly convinced him getting the car so me and my friend can go with him picking up the car from the assembly factory here in Holland and have a test drive with it as well.
I cannot possibly wait till May to drive a brand new Tesla.
Holy shit dat accerlation
I think I will try to get one in about 2 years. The prices should have dropped by then and there should be more charging stations around my area.
Theres 1 charging station in my area and thats like 150km away

That's my main concern. But I hope that in a few years there will be one every 50km or so.
It looks fast, but I don't know, electric cars are never really going to catch on unless we completely change how we handle electricity generation and charging methods, as well as battery technology and recycling
Can't force something that the infrastructure isn't ready for

Well, we have been. Tesla alone has dumped hella money in battery research.
I remember sitting in one about a year ago. It was fucking crazy the way the car just took off.

Indeed. And here's a link to the map that shows all the free supercharger stations they've been putting up around North America. A supercharger can give you almost a full charge in 30 minutes.

Anyone have a video from outside of the car accelerating?
That first grandma looks exactly like my grandma, with the exact same voice.
I'm really actually wondering if that's her. :v:
They should cut these up and make them into commercials. Just the reaction followed by the Tesla logo. No commentary or sales pitches.

Now imagine what would happen if the Tesla didn't have its top speed capped at 133 mph that day. Month after that was recorded they shipped out new firmware to increase the top speed to 155 mph.
Tesla's fucking fast.
